Qigong

Qi is the Life Force Energy that powers your heartbeat and gives us strength.

Gong is the Practice of Increasing our Life Force Energy for a better quality of life.

Qigong (pronounced chee gung) is an age-old Chinese healing and therapeutic modality which utilizes breathing techniques, meditation, and special movements to promote health and well-being. Qigong’s slow, focused, light exercises and gentle stretching movements are for all ages and levels of fitness. Qigong helps to reduce stress, increase balance, coordination, and memory; and bring together mind, body and spirit. Classes last one hour and include a fifteen-minute warm up. New members are welcome to join at any time.

Classes take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in the Yacht Lounge. For further information or handouts relating directly to the practice of Qigong, contact Qigong Teacher, Keith Vincent at 906-7065 or email [email protected]. For all other enquiries, contact Sylvia Waddell at (408) 341-5444 or email at [email protected].
